Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit.

When I first set up this blog I called it Life Keeps Surprising Me but, since it has now become more about papercrafting, I changed the name to be more reflective of what is going on here.

I am so appreciative of those who have elected to follow my blog and I love to read comments that have been left here for me.

Thanks so much for dropping by.

..........The Craft Closet.

Photo #1 - 3 new shelves to hold some of my stamps. Martha Stewart scoring tool hanging on wall

Photo #2 - My desk area as seen from the "hallway" of my closet. The cross hanging on the wall belonged to my grandmother. The "Evil Eye" charm is from Turkey. Cutter Bee and Fiskars paper cutters hanging on walls. Blue Anduze pot from France (on shelf above bulletin board) holds rolls of adhesive dots and lines.

Photo #3 -  Over door shoe holder holds various punches and tools. This door leads to the "Man Cave."

Photo #4 - DH built this corner cupboard that holds my Sizzix and dies, glue gun, 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and blank cards and envelopes. It is hard to see but on the top shelf is a small wooden dresser that belonged to my grandmother when she was a child.

Photo #5 - Ribbon, glue, glitter, & embossing powder storage along with some other embellishments. My Cricut mats hang on the wall. The apron hanging on the wall hook was made by my great grandmother. This is the wall behind me as I sit at my desk.

Photo #6 - Photo & card storage on top shelf, Middle shelf holds my Xyron adhesive machines in various sizes. The bottom shelf holds my small collection of Cricut cartridges, my Sizzix Embossing Boutique & embossing folders.  My Cricut Expression sits on the bookcase. It gets moved to the small table on the back wall for use. The bookcase holds books, magazines, smaller papers are also stored here.

This is a tiny space but I'm always happy in here.
